Some things to note: -It was an incredibly small sample of 11 kids -they only played training modes on Wii Sports, not the full matches -boys in the study used more energy than girls, especially in tennis (all kids were active in real-life sports) -the study points out that their system does not detect arm movements well. This is a huge flaw because Wii Sports relies almost entirely on arm movements. Not being able to measure this movement accurately puts a lot of doubt into their numbers (which measures the trunk of the body, and down to the feet)
