Has history really shown us that the eventual winner was the one with the most third party revenue, or is that reversed and history has shown that third parties of course end up making more money on the winner? To give prominent examples, Atari 2600 and NES started out exclusively with first-party games, but once they became hot other companies wanted a piece.
