The file pspbtcnf_02g.bin 'could' be interepreted as 'psp battery config ...' (though others have suggested other possible meanings).
So...a unknown firmware file in December and now a new submission in Feb...somethings afoot.
I too truly hope it is a hack stop...I understand the 'homebrew' scene but the amount of piracy it leads too (check out the torrents for riped umd) is awful.

Thanks Joe80 ... who says the intertubes are anonymous! I refer you back to this story that SE picked up on (also from PSPFanboy) where 'hackers' were confused over a new file in the PSP firmware.
