I know you support the Wii as it is your console of choice and I support the 360 as it is my console of choice but i wasnt being fanboyish. Admittedly personally the Wii does not appeal to me but i still respect Nintendo in a way as a business, for how they are appealing to this new audience and making tons of money in the process. I was just commenting on how much of this is PR spin that ALL the companies are liable for. I do not care who 'wins' this generation on whatever basis, all i care about his having great games to play.
And yes i would find how many of these 50million are 3rd party to see just how the numbers stack up. Sony and Microsoft have 'normal' ratios of first and third party so they are of little interest. The fact that Nintendo does dominate the Wii's software sales (and your response confirms this to be an issue) means that to me it would be interesting in seeing just how bad 3rd party are doing on the Wii or whether Nintendo's first party dominance is being over stated a little.
Your post was imo, a very fanboyish response, and im sure from reading your various other posts you do not want to come across in that way. I would suggest not taking an off hand comment about PR spin so seriously next time and jumping to Nintendos rescue, their numbers speak for themselves so you dont have to :)
