@vGInfidel, It seems that you and I are both reading between the lines / misinterpret text too much. You with your "fill this up yourself" text that you think call you a fanboy (while I did not mean it in that way, I meant it as "fill this up yourself, reader", not "fill this up yourself, VGInfidel"), and me with my interpretation of "NDF by any chance :P".
I am sorry that I misread / misunderstood your post meaning, and I apologize for jumping into wrong conclusion. I am someone who is known as "lacking sense of humour / joke", since I have difficulty determining whether a post is a joke or not (I always assume all post are serious).
I agree with you that all PR put the best facet of their business forward, and no company will put things like : "we have the best tie ratio, but our machine have worst reliability" or "we have most software sales, but our figure include Wii Play, because without Wii Play our figure is less than PS2".
I still didn't agree with you on whether Wii Play should be included or not, but let's put an end to that part, and agree to disagree.
"it is the full priced that really matter that can be compared". With this sentence, are you saying that the Platinum / Best series games should not be counted ? Example (for illustration, figure not correct) : There are 1 Million Hot Shot Golf 5 sold at $ 60 price. 12 month later, Sony release "PS3 the best" version of HSG5 at $ 30 price, and have sales of 500K. Should Sony calculate HSG5 as 1 Million (just full price version) or 1.5 Million (full price + best version price) ? If I read it right, you are thinking that the lowered MSRP shouldn't be part of the calculation.
