I am not sure when the 512mb card launched but it only costs £29.99 delivered in the UK so it is not going to break the bank.
What is a shame is that to take advantage of the Avatars you would need to buy this card and effectively discard the 256 unit supplied.
This does seem odd to me as the Avatar is aimed at the casual market which puts it at odds with the Arcade in this respect. Hopefully they will revise this product and include the 512 card as standard, maybe the new bundled models will have the greater capacity card?
