I think it is very interesting in the UK at the moment in the battle of the soccer games which generally are some of the biggest sellers of the year. Sony are backing Fifa 09 in their adverts with PS3 footage and logos shown; where as Microsoft are backing PES09 with 360 footage being shown in the adverts etc. and this new bundle.
It signifies the demographic in the UK that the consoles are targeted at rather well i feel. Fifa is aimed at a younger more casual gamer with its simpler gameplay and reliance on official licensing, which i feel is the same as PS3. Where as PES is aimed at the more serious/ hardcore gamer with its lack of licensing (which deters the casual 'football fan') but better gameplay, just like i think the 360 is.
