This will be interesting in that Apple was recently reaffirmed its awarding of the multi-touch screen patent. It's expected they will now go after Palm, RIM, and every other device maker using the multi-touch screens. We will have to see if they go for royalties or simply cease & desist orders.
Sony has had patent violation problems in the past (the hold up with the force-feedback controllers). It'd be interesting to see what happens here.
If the PSP2 plays games that are incompatible with the PSP, then it will be considered a completely separate console from the PSP GLS stock.
