@mrahaju, Still not making sense to me. If sales of something are 3 times that of something else at this point in time, that doesn't tell you anything about what the sales were a week before. Hypothetically, PS3 could have been even higher in sales a week ago even though it is 3 times the sales now. A sales comparison between items now tells us nothing about past sales.
It could've been last week PS3 100,000 360 95,000
This week PS3 300,000 360 100,000 (3 times higher)
or last week PS3 50,000 360 200,000
this week PS3 400,000 360 133,000 (3 times higher)
All that math tell us is that 360/3 = X for this week.
