I am less enthusiastic about GT5 now that it has been confirmed for March 2010. Whether you are a FM3 fan or not the fact is it will have been in the market for over 5 months.
GT5's saving grace is that FM3 is an Xbox exclusive and can only have minimal effect on sales.
They needed to release this game this side of Christmas. The infatuation with the volume of tracks and cars would of been better spent ensuring the game was delivered sooner. They then could of used the time after release to provide this as additional content.
How many sales would you say this confirmation of a March 2010 release will make ultimately to the LTD for this title. I am now estimating sales of 8 million and only with mega bundling do I see it going much higher.
