RE: 3 Million Wii in US
Of course I'm not happy with my short you arrogant twit.
But that's not the problem, the problem is you cannot take a new position after you've lost a ton of money.
The algorithm has tweaked over the last 6 months, to ensure that if you buy up a lot of stock, the Bids do not increase accordingly after about 500k.
There is no way to insulate yourself against further loss, or to hedge except for to place bids long in advance.
1) Because there are actually few players playing there are no REAL bids to take the place of automatic bids
2) When automatic bids stop scaling, you cannot sell back to the market at a higher price, ensuring loss.
3) You can avoid this by ensuring you never buy up more than 500k on shorts, but if losses mount, you are forced into further loss, either by buying up artificially low bids, or
4) This did not used to happen on TSE, so modifications have been made which are favorable to no one but "the house", hence my carny comment.
But yeah, I'm not surprised you think I'd be pissed about some petty losses, but after taking a bunch of these hits its pretty clear that this game is imbalanced and a waste of time.
I mean, it's not like I come here for your personality apujanata.
