In a case like the one mentioned where its a new game I have no problems with people posting VG Chartz information, because people know there are off and the NPD numbers come and show people that the exact numbers posted on VGChartz are off. Thats part of what makes it so fun.
My only objection to using VGChartz info is when we're talking about games that are no longer being sold in retail stores, aren't being mentioned by anyone but VGChartz, and all of the sudden a post about what VGChartz says becomes the 100% truth for sales info. IMO at that point the game should be delisted and the focus moved to new games that are upcoming, resources are being wasted on these old games, as tens of thousands of shares are purchased to adjust a stock by 5-10 dkp because VGChartz says it's off. That money would be much better served in a focus on your previously mentioned GTA IV stock, which I also believe is overvalued and sales info will prove.
Again, my only issue with VGChartz is with older stocks because they end up directly copying VGChartz info, it would be better to delist them.
