Beautiful games haveb een on that system from the start...the launch titles for the 360 were amazing compared to last-gen games and no one can argue that Gears isn't a fantastic game.
There is, without a doubt, already a large graphical difference between the 360/PS3 and the Wii. I don't know why people think this will somehow become a crucial factor later when it's already noticeable today but hasn't affected sales.
I suspect we'll see the "just wait a little while and things will change" argument for the next couple years.

I found this article to be interesting, possibly showing off what the June NPD will look like - Mario Striker's Charged which is cleaning up in Europe.
Definitely an awesome way to end his career, with his swansong being the game that put him on the map. I can only hope other designers go out in the same way. Personally, I'd like to see Miyamato do something similar when he's done, Kojima, Wright, etc.
I noticed this earlier, I am a big fan of the pac man series even owning one of the arcade units. I am sorry to see the designer of the game go, but that certainly was a way to go out eh?
Quite interesting that the Wii has poor reviews. I do design and IT for a living. When given the time i will measurebate the value of having an 8-core mac over a 4-core with 8 more GB of RAM, but in the end I make my decision and never try either side by side. Or when i am buying a lens for my camera, i will scour the review sites, read all i can, look at sample images, but never get the opportunity to try each side by side.
All that to say. The benefits of these reviewers is that they can and do compare these systems and games side by side.
I own a Wii and dont care how it stacks up against a PS3 or 360 – they are not in my budget and they do not have the features I want. I am happy playing the wii. I buy my games based on hype and past experience. Although sometimes i take a chance. They're $50, i dont need reviews as it is a low risk investment. Plus my wife usually likes the games I buy, even if i dont. E.G. Stuper Monkey Ball – So frustrating. ahahah
All that too say.
Wii Sports - Free with system Play Control (remember this old rating) - 8 Graphics - 4 by those two ratings alone it scores a 6 on the JB-o-meter. But when i bring it to a party, everyone gives it a 10. We bowl, we golf, we have a damn good time and it is much better than watching 1 person play a game. I just wish there was a way to hit up 8 wii-motes on some of the games.
