In the past month it has climbed up 40million from 125million, with little opposition. Is there any reason why? Or is this just another case of TSE users inflating popular stocks to ridiculous levels. Its peaked at 175million which means a user or several must think there is profit to be had even at this level. Now presume that profit margin is at least 10-15% and you have users thinking that the Wii will sell over 200million units, proposterous.
Though, it is still pretty close to the IPO of the Sept. Future and it usually takes a week or so for a new future or stock to even out to more understandable (and stable) levels.
@JoshuaJSlone, I think the June price is roughly where I predicted them.
It is true that July price is a little bit overpriced, but I dare not short them, since it is Wii. I know that this argument sound weak, but I found out the hard way that betting against Wii is risky, just like it is risky to bet against X360 S/W, especially the first month. When doing risky bet, I always wanted additional profit margin %, and at its current price (71.1), July # doesn't provide enough margin for me to invest on. I prefer finding other future stock to invest in, that are either less risky or have better margin.
Considering June is a 5-week month, I'm surprised the Wii future for the month isn't much greater than the 4-month May and July surrounding it. I can understand someone thinking high supplies in March-May were aberrations due to major launches (though I'm not sure I agree), but if things dip down in June why will they then pick back up in July?
Well, it is easy to see who benefit from this, since his networth will jump very, very high (2 million stock is a big amount). He didn't even have to come forward, but we will know it :D
LOL. Whoever thinks you will be able to get a bunch of free shares of the Wii August future, you are wrong. They will roll back all incorrect trades. So the 2mil shares that have been bought for 0dkp will be gone. You are better off reporting the error. You get a DKP bonus for reporting any error.

I've been building a short position in all 3 consoles and the PSP as best as I can...I think Wii and PSP are the worst offenders.
Hopefully TSE will be around in 4 years so I can realize my gain!
