@quicksilvy, you found a good screenshot but people are going to vote it down because you messed up the thumbnail. FYI, you can fix it from the Your Images browser. Make sure to use the actual picture file not html webpage in the thumbnail form.
I think this is a great game, but given the sales data mentioned above, this game is grossly overvalued. This stock has hit its peak. It's time to sell.
I was really bullish when I posted the 333,000 copies sold figure back on Nov 29...but it looks like the sales hit a brick wall. Splinter Cell: Double Agent only sold 53,000 copies in November...for a total of 386,000 copies. I don't know how much international appeal this game has but I don't think it will hit 950K at this rate. Might sell another 300K in December but I think that is even over optimistic.
I was just reading a Wikipedia article which listed the top selling Xbox games of all time. I learned that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell sold over 2.4 million copies in North America alone.
When you consider that the Xbox 360 is likely to have a larger installed user base than the Xbox and combine this fact with the success Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent currently enjoys, it seems pretty clear that this game is seriously undervalued.
333,000 Copies? Wow, I had no idea this game was that popular.
I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about video games. Jokingly, I asked her to buy me an Xbox360 for Christmas. She playfully responded in the negative.
Somehow the conversation drifted to the topic of her brother. She told me that her brother absolutely loves Splinter Cell and that when he is in the country, he plays this game for hours on end...
Did you guys know this game sold 333,000 copies in October in North America alone? The game will sell at least that much across the holidays and even more over its lifetime, especially when it hits the $20 level.
