I know VGC isn't ultimately accurate, but they have GH World Tour at only 3.11m copies. The GLS stock is over 1 million above that, which has to be a pretty large error. I think this stock can come down.
I'm surprised the stock price for this game isn't higher. Guitar Hero III is currently predicted at 3.30 million. One that launches a year later where the userbase is much higher, and with many new features, would seem to have an advantage. I guess the thing going against this would be if one predicted that people just got "Guitar Heroed out", but that seems an odd prediction after the games have been getting bigger over the years and showing long legs in the charts.
I'm surprised it's not relatively higher than the PS3/X360 versions for similar reasons. If the Wii version of GH3 is doing as well as the X360 version already, why shouldn't we expect the version released when Wii's lead in the west is dominant to show an even bigger difference? Especially since the non-Wii versions will have more legitimate competition from Rock Band and its sequel, whereas the day-late dollar-short Wii version of Rock Band should put up less of a fight. Yet compared to the versions of GH3 for each console, simExchange currently predicts the growth to the next version will be Wii 8%, X360 21%, and PS3 108%.
