This stock is way oversold. CoD3 is actually at 1.47 million copies sold according to VGcharts. Though there is some discrepency...the world page has 1.08 million copies sold in the Americas while the NA page says 919,250.
Vixenbergen and Vixenbergen2, be aware multiple accounts are not allowed on the Simexchange.
Additionally the only recent hard numbers that I have been able to find are from VGcharts.com showing 464,000 copies sold in December. A strong holiday showing which means it still may meet it's current estimate of 1,440,000.
VG Charts show CoD3 sold 376,000 copies in November. The stock price seems a bit overvalued. CoD2 sold 283,500 copies in the same month last year and ended up selling 1.25 million copies over the next year. Although fewer Xbox 360s were available then, CoD2 was also regarded as a better game. I do not think CoD3 can exceed the % growth rate of CoD2.
Do people think the 360 version has the momentum to leverage off the CoD2 customers or is it too soon for another game? CoD2 also didn't have much competition. There's Gears of War this holiday.
