Looks like people missed the PC version of Star Trek: Legacy. The Xbox 360 version has dropped tremendously but the PC version appears to have been largely ignored. I think this should be down similarly.
Hmm, I think the GameSpot review submitted by zoopzoopzoop is the same for Xbox 360 and PC. Are you allowed to submit the same content to 2 different games?
For some reason, the PC version of this game is valued less than the xbox 360 version.
There are two reasons this doesn't make sense. For one, almost every Star Trek fan owns a computer. Secondly, this is a strategy games, which tend to sell far better on the PC, due to ease of control.
Those who own both a PC and a console will definitely buy the PC version of this game, which will put this version on a superior footing vs the xbox 360 version.
More about the writers and publisher:
Bethesda Softworks is developing this game, the highly successful developer of the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. They've hired one of the original writers of the show, DC Fontana, to write for this new game.
Fontana has deep roots in the Trek universe, having provided stories for the original TV series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: The Animated Adventures, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and even the unofficial fan-made spin-off Star Trek: New Voyages. The rest of her career is dotted with work for other sci-fi TV series, including The Six Million Dollar Man, Logan's Run, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Babylon 5, and Earth: Final Conflict.
This game looks to be the best Star Trek game ever made, even better than the venerable Bridge Commander. It will definitely sell 1 million worldwide, bare minimum. Grossly undervalued!
