The graphic quality of the units looks very good. However, the biggest concern with this game is how RTS game play will be translated onto the console.
The Halo Wars team over at Ensemble have updated their site yesterday, adding some shots and info on two of the units set to feature in the game. One, the Warthog, I'll imagine you're somewhat familiar with. It's fast, it's iconic, it's cheap, you can upgrade it. The other, though, is the UNSC firebase, your base of operations if you're playing as the human forces. It builds, it powers, it slices, it dices. Concept art and in-game model shots of both below.
See the Haloverse in high detail with this megaton overload of 40 screens! The Covenant and UNSC aren't holding anything back in Halo Wars...
I didn't want to flood the image section. Enjoy.
Some new Halo Wars information has trickled out of the latest issue of GamePro, including news that the game will support Xbox Live multiplayer with up to six players as well as two-player online co-op. The magazine also reveals new UNSC units such as the Vulture, Cyclops and Cobras and the game's current control scheme.
