Criterion just revealed another update in the works, this time codenamed Davis, for Burnout Paradise. This 3 upgrade is planned XBL and the PSN this August and will for the first time ever allow Burnout players to ride motorcycles across Paradise City. On top of the new vehicular selection, players will be able to cruise around town at night. As such, this will clear out the traffic from the hustle and bustle of daytime, giving gamers a chance to acclimate themselves with the new set of wheels.
According to Xboxic the second software update for Burnout Paradise -- codenamed Bogart -- went live over the weekend, ahead of its initially planned April 24 release date. Unfortunately, the patch wasn't implemented without a couple hiccups, as there are reports of it causing framerate issues on some Xbox 360s. It's unclear if similar issues are showing up on PS3 versions of the game.
As you all know we have been playing, listening and responding to feedback with you all, our community. In addition we've also been working hard to make Burnout Paradise even better. In play time and reading issues that players are reporting we've been making adjustments and fixes to the game. We're very nearly complete with this update and wanted to share with you all what it is that we're doing.
exactly what i was thinking, why would anyone still be pumping dkp into it? the sales figures clearly show that it will not achieve 1.5million and yet it is still being brought, oh well ill just take them for more dkp if they're that desperate to give it away.
exactly why ive just shorted them both, current price (even with my drop) puts it at 2.7million combined. Now if its only sold 1million in its first 3months or so since release to gain another 170% of that would mean its got just about the longest legs ive ever seen. the only titles i feel are capable of getting anywhere near this figure are WoW, GTA and Nintendo first party. I dont see how a run of the mill sandbox racer is going to achieve it and i think combined should be closer to 1.5 at best, which is the current price of the 360 alone.
just a clarification for anyone holding positions in this or the other platform's stock: this is combined ie not a million sold on 360 and not a million sold on ps3. it's a million sold TOGETHER.

I have heard many good things about the upcoming Burnout update. It may provide another boost in sales figures for the game.
