[Having errors while trying to get online, a user] contacted EA, who told him the hard drive is "needed to store temporary data when playing online as the data transferred from one console to another requires storage space greater than what the memory card can contain."
It’s hard to believe, but Criterion’s Burnout series has been wowing us for over six years now; across four different titles and two platforms. The goal has pretty much been the same with each iteration of the franchise: smash into other cars until they beg for mercy.
"Has its share of flaws, but it's also incredibly fun. The change to an open world brought its share of issues, like having to use the map as a crutch to get around for a while, but it also allows for freedom unseen in any recent racing game. Most importantly, Criterion has once again delivered a racing experience that can best be described as controlled chaos, where even crashing is immensely rewarding. If you're even a remote fan of racing games, be sure to check this out."
If you haven't played the demo, you should. But has anyone else noticed the crash cam phenomenon?
During my very first online run in the demo, and the very first "takedown" with a Xbox vision cam...I got a shoot of the players business, aka his naughty bits. It seems this is the sole purpose of owning an over priced near useless Xbox 360 add-on. Anyone else come across this phenomenon? I think its a laugh, and a fantastic opportunity to make fun of a ill thought decision; one paying the Xbox Visions, and showing off ones tiny twig and minerals.
Look here. 2 Million for a racing game on the 360 looks indeed a little bit odd (since racing games do better in JA EU than US). I agree, it looks overvalued.
How well have past Burnout games sold? The stock is now over 2 million copies and this isn't an exclusive. The stock hasn't had a down day since Dec 4. I think continual buying has overvalued this.

Dont all xbox360 games require a hard drive to play online and use xbox live? I have always been under that impression.
