Tuesday Blizzard announced that StarCraft 2 owners can now beta test three Bizzard-made custom games created to play within its popular sci-fi RTS. These include a collection/cooking title called Aiur Chef, the puzzle/strategy game StarJeweled, and a cool survival and siege title called Left 2 Die.

Blizzard has given the green light for Ryan Winzen's StarCraft MMOG project.
Created using the built-in StarCraft 2 toolset, Winzen's project quickly attracted the attention of gamers and journalists alike. A pre-alpha demo video uploaded to YouTube offered a glimpse into the highly-polished mod which merged Blizzard's StarCraft universe with a MMOG gameplay model. The resulting sample left many of us wanting to see the mod's completion.

After the release of StarCraft II's version 1.1 patch, Blizzard has gone straight to work on the next major version update. Version 1.2 is aimed at competitive players but it'll also bring in the usual improvements.
Major "e-Sport" features will be introduced that'll let players show how they did in past seasons and improve chat. Along with bug fixes, balance changes, and tweaks, the SCII editor will get some significant improvements.
Blizzard has released the first major patch for its wildly popular real-time strategy game StarCraft 2.
Patch 1.1.0 features a number of new balance changes, improvements to the map editor and bug fixes.
Multiplayer faithfuls would do well to note the the changes made to both the Protoss and Zerg races as changes have been made to aspects including build time, damage output and abilities.
