Now the first starcraft was released in 1994 (my birth year!)and sold i think 10-11 million?
The played this play this game will be much older (13years) so thats going to lose people.
The only way i think it will sell really well blizzard need to advertise ALLOT with that id say it could each that figure.I would like to see how other people will think this will sell.
Blizzard only has 3 franchises (Diablo being the third) and they do quite a nice job of milking them without over-saturating. Also, there's always a long delay in the release of a game after they announce it, so they will NOT have another game in hiding to be released in the next 1-2 years.
Blizzard is a company that is based on quality and not quantity.
@Laoldar, first of all, they are OFFICIALLY working on 2 titles, I can be 100% sure there are more game projects on the back, and they could possibly be released before one that is official, don't try to minimize this post because there are only 2 official, nobody knows if tomorrow they'll announce one more, or you do?
Second: for YOU, "closest to release" means nothing, for me it means it could be faster than I can expect.
You're missing part of my point. When you only have two known titles and only one of those is a standalone game, saying it's closest to release means absolutely nothing. It could be 3 months from now, it could be 2 years.
Apologies to everyone who read that comment that was obviously written way too fast. Too many spelling errors (spelt closest wrong twice, in two different ways!). My bad.
Your title is misleading. He doesn't say SC2 is cloest to release, he groups it by saying he works on GAMES closet to release like SC2. That could be a group of 2 games, or a group of 5. It doesn't mean anything really.
Besides that, Blizard only has two known future projects! Starcraft 2 and the next WoW expansion (Wrath of the Lich King). Since they only have two announced future projects, it's pretty mch a given they're closer to release than any secret unknown ones.

I cant see this selling 13million for 2reasons.Games next in the series dont sell as well as the first its a known fact.
for example
The Sims 1 sold roughly 16.08million
The Sims 2 sold roughly 5.21million
Half-Life 1 sold roughly 7.85
Half-Life 2 sold roughly 4.13
This was taken from VGC
