I know what most people are thinking 'what 4million?' But alot of my friends(european) would actually buy this/prefer this than halo 3.Well thats what i think might be a different storie in america.
While Australians shunned those old stalwarts, they most definitely did not shun Call of Duty 4. Call of Duty 4 (360) took the number 1 spot with PC and PS3 version also placing in the top 10 this week.
This price is nice. Funny, all I hear here is that VGC is so untrustworthy, but than, something like those prices happens after VGC has a high number. Interesting.

There was a time when the Call of Duty franchise was beginning to look a little stale. Call of Duty 3, the Treyarch-led travesty of the otherwise stellar series, took some of the steam out of the franchise, and the World War II gaming niche was overpopulated by the time the game came out.

"Call of Duty 4, which was released two days ago by Activision, appears to be in extremely high demand and is sold out across the board. We've checked with a wide range of retailers (Gamestop, Wal-Mart, Target), and only pre-orders are being satisfied—stores are otherwise sold out of the title," he said.
Rarely does a game shine in every area and accomplish everything it sets out to do. Call of Duty 4 is unquestionably one of those rare titles. Call of Duty 4 is the definition of a must-buy. It may not revolutionize the shooter genre, but it comes damn close to perfecting it.
