I didn't have the time to mention it in the previous post, but the article stated that the AI was dumbed down by necessity, due to the fact that there were "more enemies on screen than we have ever seen". So, if the AI was on par with, say F.E.A.R or H3, you would be dead in 2 seconds and the game would be impossible. So the AI has kind of crappy aim and tends to stand in the open and invite bullets, but it's a necessary evil.
Just a generic comment but how the heck does a review site justify 8/10 with brain dead AI in a game...what the heck is the point if the AI is no good on this type of game.
The link just verifies the score, but OXM's exclusive review of this game was 8 out of 10.
They cited a lack of polish and brain dead AI as the main negatives.
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has, like one of its titular characters, a split personality. All of the content we've seen up to this point has been from the offline campaign mode. However, recently we went to Eidos' London home to check out Kane & Lynch: Fragile Alliance, the game's online multiplayer component, on the Xbox 360.
