Personally I'd much rather they do away with game submisisons than to see any DKP from them myself.
I understand it wasn't meant as a slight against me, but surely you could understand how I would feel robbed if the other submission was IPOed and I didn't get any money for mine, when it was first?
Both submissions were made on the same minute, with similar prices and with equally small descriptions. The only thing differentiating them was that small DKP difference. I meant no slight to you and have even added content to your Wii Fit submission afterwards.
In the past I saw that the admins credited multiple players for listings of IPOs, but I believe it's at their discretion. They've said before that they're planning on phasing out IPO money (which makes sense as many users can contribute to the game description, as is the case here).
I guess it wouldn't matter as long as no DKP are credited when this game gets IPOed. If they are still giving out DKP I will be seriously pissed since I was the first one to submit the game, and this one is only 50dkp higher than mine.
Both submissions were in the system when I decided to post the images. They were made at the same time, I just made a choice to keep all the image submissions on one page. I was simply explaining why I chose this one.
I don't understand why an entire new submission should be made just because of one little bit that you don't agree with, that will clog the submissions with duplicates.
Not meaning to slight pilias_simber's submission, I just feel this one has a better price. Though I would argue that it should be at least 1200 DKP. Mario Kart on the GC sold 6.6 million, and that was mainly due to slow Japanese sales. The DS version is nearly at 7 million and the N64 one was near 10 million. 300 DKP would put this at nearly half the price of the slowest selling Mario Kart game ever (the GBA version).
Also, looking at the footage, I think I recognized some tracks from previous Mario Kart games. I would bet that they're going to have a series of new courses (like the coaster track) and a collection of classic ones (much like how the DS version worked).
