Scholarship Edition is somewhat of a director's cut for Bully, the game released as Canis Canem Edit in Europe in 2006. The new version keeps the soul of the original PlayStation 2 game and adds a next-gen polish to its body. It also adds new graphics, extra solo missions, and multiplayer games.
"the Wii version gets some motion-specific mini-games that fit nicely with the subject matter...The Wii version handles the mini-games to near perfection"
2006's Bully (or Canis Canem Edit if you got the renamed UK version) is arguably Rockstar's most underrated game to date.
Despite the needless controversy surrounding its content (or what the mainstream press thought was in it, anyway), the house of GTA's schoolyard romp proved to be more Grange Hill than The Sopranos, and definitely one of Rockstar's most enjoyable and charming games of the last few years.
Oh Bully, how we've missed you. For those that had the privilege of kicking a little butt at Bullworth Academy a couple years back on PS2, you already know where my little opening anecdote (one of the best I've had in a while, don't you agree?) is gong. Bully, Rockstar's teen-oriented version of GTA, is all about taking over the school of Bullworth Academy, seeking revenge on all the would-be-baddies of the class.
"Rockstar Games is best known for its Grand Theft Auto series, but Wii and Xbox 360 owners will soon discover another worthy title in its library. Bully: Scholarship Edition arrives on Wii and 360 on March 4 in the US and March 7 in the UK. Both version are priced at $49.99 and include the original game along with a bevy of extras."
"Go Nintendo is reporting that the Scholarship Edition of Bully for the Wii has a firm release date now on Gamestop's website, which lists it as hitting on March 3."
Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive announce the development of a newly expanded edition of Bully, Bully: Scholarship Edition, for the Xbox 360 and Wii consoles.
