Perhaps that Max Payne 3 trailer left you with more questions than answers. Or maybe you haven’t really been paying attention to the third Max Payne game until today. Well Rockstar Games has a few clarifications about what Max’s Brazilian adventure is and isn’t.
A few new details on Max Payne 3 have emerged out of Rockstar Games, as the company today issued a fact sheet to accompany the debut screenshots released yesterday.
Among the revelations is word that other Rockstar studios are helping the Bully veterans at Rockstar Vancouver with the anticipated sequel--prior to the official announcement, rumors had suggested that The Warriors veterans at Rockstar Vancouver were working on the game--and the return of "Max's ever-present internal monologue."
Game Informer has revealed a new piece of artwork from Max Payne 3, with the sequel to be featured in its July 2009 issue.
While little is known of the forthcoming action game, which is being developed by Rockstar Vancouver instead of creator Remedy and occurs roughly 10 years after Max Payne 2, Deeko passes along some details pulled out of Game Informer.
Max Payne 3 is currently in development and scheduled to hit the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 this winter, Rockstar announced this morning.
The sequel, in development by Rockstar Vancouver, will tell the story of a retired police detective "embroiled in a world of corruption, turmoil and intense violence."
