Digital Extremes CEO James Schmalz has been quick to nullify remarks made by producer Josh Austin yesterday regarding the PS3 version. “Never once did we feel we could not pull off the PS3 version of Dark Sector. As with all PS3 games, it takes skill and time to optimize and we spent a great deal of time doing that, it did take one final push to get the PS3 version performing as well but never once did we think it couldn't be done, it was simply a matter of finishing a game.

While we were crawling around the island's back alleys and ducking behind crates and walls, yet another group of bad guys popped up, ready to blow Hayden's head off. We threw the glaive, wounded one of the foes and a red silhouette appeared around him. We rushed at him, pressed the onscreen button command and Hayden spun behind the bad guy before cutting the soldier's throat with no remorse
