Bayonetta on PS3 is a mixed experience. On the one hand you have some excellent Devil May Cry-style action with some of the most enjoyable combat you’ll ever play. While on the other, you have a half-assed port of the same game on the Xbox 360, with a ridiculous amount of extra loading screens, lower frame rate and dulled graphics.

"How have 3D action games evolved since we blazed a new trail with DMC? Can you even go so far as to say they�ve evolved? Seven years ago, we put everything we had into Devil May Cry. But since then, like the hands of time for the 3D action genre were frozen at that moment, it seems like the drive to push users further has stopped. There is so much more that should be done now. SEGA announced in its third quarter fiscal results dated February 5, 2010 that worldwide sales of Bayonetta on XBox360 and PS3 have totaled 1.1 million so far.

Sega confirms that the upcoming action-adventure is hitting the Land of the Rising Sun on October 29th, Western release should be close as the company wanted a worldwide release
