Wii has most games/exclusives for 4th quarter 07

According to the Screen Digest Games Bulletin, the Wii will have more titles released in Q4 07 than the 360 and PS3 combined. 86 Wii titles, 21 which are platform exclusive. 47 360 titles, 8 exclusives. 38 PS3 titles, 5 exclusives.

GameDaily BIZ has confirmed with a well placed industry source that Peter Moore is leaving his position as the head of interactive entertainment for MS. We have also learned that he will be replaced by former EA exec Don Mattrick. [Update: EA has confirmed Peter Moore appointment, MS confirms departure]

UK: GTA:IV boosts 360 more than PS3

Chart-track GTA:IV sales figures for the first 4 weeks reveal that the Xbox 360 is the format of choice for UK gamers, with 57pc of the total sales on 360. Total sales are over 1.3m meaning around 750k has shifted on 360 vs around 570k on PS3. Comparing sales of both consoles for the 4 weeks prior to GTA:IV’s launch to the 4 weeks since its launch, hardware units have risen on 360 by 47pc, compared to just 8pc on PS3. The PS3 YTD in the UK is still slightly more than the 360 however.

High def movie downloads in 15 mins

Xbox Live high definition movie downloads should take between 15 minutes and half an hour to download by the end of the year on some broadband services, according to Virgin Media and Microsoft today. A Virgin Media spokesperson informed us that the company's 50MB broadband service will be made available to over nine millions homes by the end of 2008

NVIDIA confirmed that they were looking to buy physics-centric AGEIA Technologies. NVIDIA said an agreement to acquire the industry leaders in gaming physics, though the acquisition still remains subject to some closing conditions.

The PlayStation 3 is tops with tech, bottoms with game selection.
