$169 bundle only version available in 2007

1UP - October 12, 2007

Submitted by Animate (241) at 10:01PM PST on October 12, 2007

$169.99 bundle will be only way to buy Rock Band this year reason is high cost of shipping what would be 4 bundles. DLC can buy an album, or 1/2 tracks separately. Possible promos like buy 2 songs & get 1 cheaper/free. DLC 1 week after launch with The Who's album & more DLC for every week until the end of 2007. If just 1 week after launch, why not include on disc? Will cost more in Canada.

When I contacted another local GameStop, they told me the same thing and informed me that they were only allowed to sell four preorders for the whole store. They, as well, are expecting no additional Rock Band bundles until next year.

IGN Review: 9.4/10 Outstanding!

IGN - November 16, 2007

"Rock Band is a great game. The presentation elements are top-notch and take music games to a new level; consider the bar raised. Though there are three separate solo careers, Rock Band is best experienced with a group of friends. [...] Without question, Rock Band is one of the must-have games of the year."
