Kane and Lynch: Dead Men (Xbox 360)
Sells 1.4 million copies (I think all formats)

CutScene - February 29, 2008

I believe this is all format sales it released under, not 360 only. "Buried in its restructuring statement was this bit of data from Sci/Eidos: Kane and Lynch sold 1.4 million units. That's a solid, though far from spectacular, worldwide performance for a game that got very mixed reviews.

Kane & Lynch: Fragile Alliance Hands-on

GameSpot - October 9, 2007

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has, like one of its titular characters, a split personality. All of the content we've seen up to this point has been from the offline campaign mode. However, recently we went to Eidos' London home to check out Kane & Lynch: Fragile Alliance, the game's online multiplayer component, on the Xbox 360.

OXM Review 8/10

OXM - October 26, 2007

The link just verifies the score, but OXM's exclusive review of this game was 8 out of 10. They cited a lack of polish and brain dead AI as the main negatives.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men - spong Review (57%)

In the Eidos / IO Interactive marriage, the happy couple has watched their little baby Agent 47 grow into a strapping young murderous lad befitting of the Hollywood treatment. Inevitably the urge to spawn a fresh new screaming brat into the world takes hold. The scan shows that it's twin boys, Kane and Lynch. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, so say many in that prejudicial, “all knowing but not really knowing anything at all”

Willis and Thornton for Kane & Lynch?

Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton are said to be in the running to play Kane and Lynch, two escapees from death row - one "a flawed mercenary", the other "a medicated psychopath".

Demo Up On Xbox Live

kotaku - December 19, 2007

"Skulking quietly onto Xbox Live today was a demo for that game everyone just loves to douse in hatorade, Kane & Lynch. The demo's a pinch over 500MB, features one level, where you climb down a skyscraper and shoot some guys up, and you can play it in either single-player or co-op. Remember: the PR shitstorm surrounding Kane & Lynch wasn't the game's fault, nor the fault of its developers. May as well give it a shot."

The same goes for Kane & Lynch: Dead Men in 2007. You probably won’t remember it, due to its fairly underwhelming gameplay; no chance of GotY hardware here, unfortunately....

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a premise with promise, but the gameplay isn't sound while the story and characters go nowhere. And it's got enough random AI-based glitches to make you want to scream. Considering the nearly ridiculous number of extremely high-quality shooters available recently, there's not much room for something like Kane & Lynch...
