Crisis Core PSP bundle heads to Europe June 20

Joystiq.com - June 10, 2008

Submitted by vGInfidel (150) at 9:16AM PST on June 10, 2008

Square Enix is releasing a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP bundle for Europe to coincide with its June 20 release. The bundle includes a PSP Slim with final fantasy finish and a copy of the game for 190 Euros (US $293). According to Amazon France, if you bought a PSP Slim (170 Euros) and Crisis Core (37 Euros) separately, it'd cost you 21 Euros (US $32) more, so it's definitely a good deal to pick up the bundle (assuming, of course, you don't already have a PSP).

Visually, Crisis Core is one of the best to hit the PSP

G Informer - October 25, 2007

Submitted by kspraydad (475) at 8:31PM PST on October 25, 2007

Visually, Crisis Core is one of the best to hit the PSP. Fans of the Final Fantasy VII universe would be depriving themselves if they skip out on this when the English version hits the shores in 2008.

9 Page History of Final Fantasy VII

IGN - April 30, 2008

Submitted by Animate (241) at 8:16PM PST on April 30, 2008

"Production on Final Fantasy VII started in late 1995. After a strict hands-on approach to his series, Sakaguchi stayed in the background for Final Fantasy VI. For the new sequel, he stepped back into the lead with a mystery plot centered around Midgar, the perpetually dark capital city of Gaia, and the familiar themes of rebels fighting a corrupt system, pursued by "Hot Blooded Detective Joe." The player's ultimate goal: destroy Midgar."

Rumor: FF7 Crisis Core receiving special edition in UK

Joystiq.com - March 14, 2008

Submitted by vGInfidel (150) at 12:54PM PST on March 14, 2008

Though American fans are due to receive the PSP game later this month, folks in the UK have to wait a bit longer. The wait may not be without reward, however, as a "Special Pre-Order Edition" of Crisis Core: FF7 (complete with obligatory art book and slipcase) has been spotted on certain retailer websites. Eurogamer notes that an announcement is "imminent," and suggests that offers for the rest of Europe may differ.
