SEGA will publish The Conduit

IGN - October 28, 2008

Submitted by apujanata (14935) at 5:55PM PST on October 29, 2008

Last we spoke with High Voltage's Eric Nofsinger, he noted that after a long decision process, the company had finally decided on a publisher -- one to be revealed soon. Sooner than we thought, perhaps. SEGA recently posted a 'The Conduit' folder to its public FTP site, indicating that the giant publisher could be the one set to back the Wii title. An official announcement is expected before the end of the week. Stay tuned.

The Conduit - Still Going Strong

Kotaku - October 6, 2008

My proverbial socks were knocked off when I saw how much they’d done with the graphics in that short amount of time. Less than two builds later, The Conduit looks worlds better. All of the graphics have been smoothed over.

The Conduit not off to a great start in Europe

NintendoEvery - July 19, 2009

As has been reiterated time and time again, developers/publishers may be influenced based on how well the game sells. However, even though there are no exact numbers yet, we can also get a pretty good idea of The Conduit’s sales in the Europe. Data provided by GfK-ChartTrack shows that, unfortunately, it isn’t off to the best of starts. On the overall charts, The Conduit debuted at the 29th position and only the 8th spot on the Wii charts.

The Conduit Update

IGN - July 9, 2008

Submitted by lstormy10 (294) at 4:42PM PST on July 11, 2008

"Wii owners have rallied behind the Wii-exclusive first-person shooter, The Conduit, developed by High Voltage Software, since we first announced it. The game is still without a publisher, mostly because the software house is in no rush to find one. That being said, the company has created an E3 build which it will be showing behind closed doors next week. We chatted with HVS chief creator office, Eric Nofsinger, to find out what to expect from the rapidly developing FPS."

First Look: The Conduit

IGN - April 17, 2008

Submitted by lstormy10 (294) at 6:32PM PST on April 17, 2008

"High Voltage Software, making games for 15 years, is one company well underway with a title built from the ground up for Wii. It's a first-person shooter that revolves around government conspiracies and alien cover-ups. It's using an advanced 3D engine that really makes the most of Nintendo's hardware. And it features a control scheme that fully utilizes the Wii remote. And right now, the game needs a publisher. It's called The Conduit and it takes place during present day."

The Conduit sales update in Europe

NintendoEvery - July 23, 2009

Submitted by noobie (468) at 10:14PM PST on July 25, 2009

Last weekend, it was reported that The Conduit was off to what most would consider a slow start in Europe. With the latest UK charts comes another sales update, although there still isn’t any wonderful news to report. The Conduit has slipped even further down the charts for the week ending July 18th. The title is no longer in the top 40 best-selling games overall and it dropped two spots to the tenth position for Wii-specific games.

SEGA: The Conduit Off to Strong Sales Start

IGN - July 10, 2009

Submitted by apujanata (14935) at 7:10PM PST on July 11, 2009

"The game is already successful with us as the reviews have been pretty impressive. Overall the reviews have been strong. Though it is still early days in the retail life of the game, we are seeing very strong week one sales and being the best shooter on the Wii means that we think we will see this game out there and selling well for a long time." ales tracking site VGchartz projects that the shooter amassed sales of nearly 100,000 units since it launched.
