Coming Out In February 2009 in Japan

Mario & Luigi 3 is on track to come out in Japan on February 11. This time the Mushroom Kingdom is plagued by a disease and it’s up to the pair of plumbers to save the day again. Like some of the other Mario RPG games, Bowser joins you as an ally and you will be able to control him. Nintendo of America hasn’t announced a date for Mario & Luigi RPG 3, but it is slated for release in North America.

IGN Review 9.5

The Mario & Luigi series has already established itself as a fantastic RPG franchise, & the third game does not disappoint. I have no problem classifying it as the best of the bunch, thanks to an excellent & appropriately surreal script, epic oversized battles, & the fact that Bowser is a playable character and gets most of the gameplay time.
