Eurogamer Review 6/10

"With only genre basics in its bag of tricks, and hobbled at every turn by clumsy implementation, in a gaming landscape that already offers Battlefield 1943 and Call of Duty: World at War's Nazi Zombies mode, Wolfenstein's bargain basement charms are of limited appeal."

The game takes place right after the events of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. In the game, Wolfenstein lead B.J. Blazkowicz stumbles upon an amulet that has secret powers and track those powers back to a town in Germany. The game will have you interacting with three factions: A civilian resistance, a group of mystic-researching scholars and a black market. All of the weapons in the game are fully upgradable.

Wolfenstein Being Recalled in Germany

IGN.com - September 22, 2009

Submitted by iamnerp (496) at 8:59AM PST on September 23, 2009

PCGames.de is reporting Wolfenstein, the latest iteration on the classic first-person shooter from Activision, is being recalled from retails shelves in Germany due to the inclusion of the swastika symbol found somewhere in the game. The German version was supposed to have all symbols removed. Exact details are a bit fuzzy at the moment, as most of this information is coming via translation; however, it's believed Activision is going to make a statement on this matter this week.
