Bayonetta on PS3 is a mixed experience. On the one hand you have some excellent Devil May Cry-style action with some of the most enjoyable combat you’ll ever play. While on the other, you have a half-assed port of the same game on the Xbox 360, with a ridiculous amount of extra loading screens, lower frame rate and dulled graphics.

SEGA announced in its third quarter fiscal results dated February 5, 2010 that worldwide sales of Bayonetta on XBox360 and PS3 have totaled 1.1 million so far.

Sega confirms that the upcoming action-adventure is hitting the Land of the Rising Sun on October 29th, Western release should be close as the company wanted a worldwide release

The graphics are lazily ported on Sony’s console too. With a lack of detail and the vibrancy from many of the colours sucked out and everything covered with a light grey misting. I’ve played both systems’ versions and it is noticeable.

Platinum Games have announced at this years Comic-Con that it has no plans to launch any kind of DLC for Bayonetta. The producer of the game said that they has no plans for releasing any kind of Downloadable content as everything you could need comes on the game disk.
