To retail for USD 199 and launching worldwide this September. The new console is 33 per cent lighter, slimmer, has a more efficient battery and will produce quicker load times, according to Sony boss Kaz Hirai.

Hey...
I said earlier that I had posted the new box art for 3 of the new versions....now we have confirmation from SONY through CNN that the CORE is still $169 (they say $170??!!).

Looking at Next-Gen.biz's article on this news, it appears that the Ice Silver PSP Entertainment Pack (the one you mentioned) and the Star Wars Battlefront Pack will retail for $199.99. In the GI.biz article it mentions that "All new model PSPs will retail for USD 199" so I think it may be possible that like Sony did originally when launching the PSP, they will only launch with packs, thus causing the price to get a new model PSP to be $199.99[ Oracle ] [ Level 23 ] [ Rank: 8 ]bids
