The Mass Effect Trilogy is suppose to be completed within the Xbox 360's life cycle, so long as it lasts longer then the last generation.
Bioware also confirmed that there will be downloadable content to "bridge the gap" between game releases.
Bioware refused to comment on Mass Effect being ported to the PS3. Purely stating that "Can't really comment on that aspect yet, it's too far into the future. Thinking a year in to the future is a big challenge these days. The law we can't control is the length of the console cycle."
