"ELSPA has told GamesIndustry.biz that a recent story about DS piracy in North America contains false quotes attributed to a company spokesperson. The report, said ELSPA, is a hatchet job consisting of facts from an article from Singapore, false quotes and a genuine conversation with Hillier on the availability of the R4 cartridge in the UK."

No problem, I suggest you also read the other article that was posted before this one where it was the spokesperson making the remarks (if you haven't already).
I find the whole situation kind of funny because almost no one agreed with or even thought that the comments that were made by the guy from the ELSPA were plausible or true. Also, it is kind of interesting and funny that a European organization was commenting on a situation in America.
In the end, I do not see piracy on the DS having much of an effect on DS software sales in most parts of the world and that is a good thing for software publishers and developers that work on the DS.
