SPECULATION FROM INDUSTRY insiders has it that Intel is having significant trouble getting publishers and developers to programme for Larrabee.
It seems that the only real way to force the developers’ hands, would be if Intel were to win a contract for a major console, meaning publishers would then have to programme for it.

I think one of the biggest problem for Intel arising in the future is that they have 20+ fabrication plants and with most advance manufacturing processes (32nm, 22nm) they are running on them, they are soon going to be having abundance of manufacturing capability and demand not exactly meeting it. That is i believe one of the many reason they are introducing Atom and going after GPU market and trying to introduce more and more products so that they can keep their fabrication plant running...
The profit margins of around 55 - 60% which they have enjoyed for decades is really very impressive for such a large corporation but going into the future their biggest threat is also going to be how to keep these huge fabrication plants they have running at full capacity and for this they might need to sacrifice their profit margins.
Just my thoughts
