Basically this could mean that PS3 would start becoming the lead console for multiplatform games, (on a regular basis) much like with EA, activision should follow suit.
Activision Blizzard says Sony's PS3 will see more growth than the Xbox 360 in the Western hemisphere during 2008. In the conference call following the publisher's third-quarter earnings, Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith provided the company's expectations for console hardware growth in North America and Europe combined.
