Colin Dixon, former MS.WebTV exec now consults for TDG. They have an interesting report about the use of consoles for video delivery (includes Wii).
Their projections call for 190 Million Consoles WW by 2012.
(Our current Console projections GLS are 330 Million)

Perhaps that is why I received down bids. Here is the summary story without the need to pay for the report.
Here is the story which shows that the Wii would be part of the 190 even though they don't address that above. In this story they point to the launch of "Everyone's Theatre Wii" in Japan as Nintendo testing the waters. If/When a WiiHD is launched (2010?) it will then be able to push HD Video.
As for my positions...Both the Wii and Xbox seem to have been cut down recently and I don't see why so I've taken a small amount (can't do much with 1 million dollars) to ride them back up.[ Guru ] [ Level 20 ] [ Rank: 424 ]bids

Interesting that you are long on Wii and 360 and you still point this article out, and especially highlight the massive overprediction of our console stocks. Seems like a very kspraydad comment to add on to the end of the summary there. ;-)
Although as apujanata said, the link takes you to the summary of the report and does not indicate any figures. It is probable the figure is in the report, but we cant see it, and i have no intention of paying $995 to find out. :p[ Oracle ] [ Level 22 ] [ Rank: 150 ]bids
