Bioware's previews of Mass Effect 2 at E3 and at GamesCom have been interesting. Asides from the usual raft of comabat & engine improvements, what they've been most keen to talk about is the end. After 60+ hours over two games, the possibility exists that you'll lose your Commander Shepard, for good. How will Bioware's flirtation with permadeath affect the game?
