“Taming the Waves: Games Console Life Cycles and Platform Competition,” admits that Wii's hardware sales have so far eclipsed those of the PS3 and Xbox 360 but predicts that Sony's console will still be a commercial platform five years after the Wii is replaced. It expects that PS3's global lifetime sales will reach 127 million, compared to its prediction of 103 million Wii units.

Wow that is bad. Maybe the PS3 hits that number, maybe, but no way Wii only sells 103M. Granted I am short Wii lifetime at 160 (I think the wii does between 125 -150) but 103 is a joke
