There's no denying that the rise of the iPhone and Apple's App Store, as well as Google's rising Android marketplace, has had a significant impact on the portable gaming space. A new report from the researchers at Interpret reveals that more and more people are turning to their phones for game time, leaving the DS and PSP behind.

I agree that commuter are pretty untapped game market, just like grandpa and grandma are pretty untapped game market for Wii.
I am just pointing out one of the reason why certain part of that untapped market are going to actively avoid using phone for gaming, because their phone are really, really important to them, and have to be on 7x24. Playing game on the phone are asking for trouble (running out of battery) for that certain market, so they will not play them on phone.
Of course, these 7x24 phone available market are pretty niche, and for majority of people, they don't mind their phone battery running out, since it is not important to them.
I always suspect researchers report, since sometime they are biased.
