Nintendo of America Vice President of Marketing George Harrison expects the current console lifecycle to extend beyond the traditional five years and he fully believes that Nintendo will be in complete control with potentially over 50 percent of the market. He also had some harsh words for Sony and Microsoft.

is this still true if you consider not numbers but amount of money invested/spent around the console with wii lower price in both hard/software & development costs (and I don't mean that in a bad way, but as in higher sums of money in big studios for other consoles). I suspect these differences might be pretty big and if so it's not only about install base but also about how much of the money in the game industry is where (from games to jobs, from advertising to production costs)
