Video Game Review: Duke Nukem Forever

Geeks of Doom - June 14, 2011

The Good Play control – This is what I consider the most important part of a game, and Duke does it well. It’s Funny – Some of the jokes are kind of lame and go too far, but others are pretty good, and ridiculous — what Duke should be. The Bad Graphics – The graphics in this game look like you’re playing a game from 14 years ago. Loading Times – This almost killed the game for me.

SC2:HOTS Preview!

Right from the start, Heart of the Swarm feels different than Wings of Liberty. Kerrigan is basically a monster goddess who can control millions of Zerg units (a.k.a. Swarm). This time around Blizzard wanted to give players that sense of absolute power. If Kerrigan tells her Zerg to die for her, they don’t get upset, they say “How many?” Now players will feel that responsibility of being the Queen of Blades.

Diablo 3 Followers Revealed

Blizzard - May 13, 2011

Submitted by Bansoma (2998) at 7:10AM PST on May 14, 2011

Blizzard recently unveiled information concerning their new followers system designed to provide more story for solo-gamers among other things. Your followers are skilled warriors in their own right, so it’s only proper that they grow in power as they’re pitted against increasingly deadly foes. They’ll gain experience as you fight together, change visually as you provide them with new equipment, and you'll be able to choose new skills for them as they level up.
