LittleBigPlanet is a platformer in which the players control characters with various abilities that can manipulate the environment. Players work co-operatively to overcome obstacles to complete a stage. LittleBigPlanet also allows players to create their own stages and share them online.

Futuregamez Preview "LittleBigPlanet is exactly what the PS3 needs. Original content, and not necessarily just a straight forward game, that will bring together the online community. It already looks fantastic, and the ease in which Phil Harrison and co were building levels at the GDC was impressive."

Tim Mellish from Gamernode writes:We never like it when a title is delayed. The anticipation is extended, plans are reworked, and a general feeling of sadness persists for at least a day. The sting is all the more real when the game is a highly touted, much looked forward to title like LittleBigPlanet. That's right folks; LittleBigPlanet has been delayed until Fall of 2008.

Over 650,000 levels have been created by 1,935,000 online LittleBigPlanet players, with an average of 35,373 levels uploaded each week.
